Wait a minute.....Western and Middle Tennessee are not in the OVC.
The ESPN commentators were debating whether the Toppers were in if they didn't win the Sun Belt Tourney Championship and earn the league's automatic bid.
South Alabama has a higher RPI and beat Western in both regular season meetings but lost out to Middle in the semi finals.
Granted, I'm no Western fan, but logic says the tourney championship is the only way for the Toppers to make the NCAA.
Looks like they're going to take the victory over Middle.
