SoCon Hoops Only Members

Found out something I did not know today.

The Southern Conference has three basketball only members according to the conferences web site.

College of Charleston, Davidson and UNC Greensboro compete in several sports in the SoCon but football is not included in the list.

Interesting, with three hoops only members, that's two more than the OVC.

This leads me to ask, is the OVC dropping its football requirement really that big a deal?
