This is filed under blowing glass, running a 5K, learning to play guitar, taking a class to learn how to do stained glass, becoming a beer vendor for a summer at a minor league baseball stadium and REALLY learning how to bet horses.
In short, it's a long shot at best. In reality, it probably is not going to happen.
With all that honesty out of the way I'd like to seek your help for my photo project. I want to photograph figures of speech but I can't come up with enough to make a complete exhibit.
I can get one of Lisa's forks (providing she doesn't find out) and put it in the road and take a picture of.......easy one right.....a fork in the road.
In my mind's eye I see freshly tilled earth. I'm thinking rich Harlan County river bottom land. The kind good for growing corn and beans and yellow tomatoes. I like yellow tomatoes. I can almost smell the loamy darkness.
I imagine finding this perfect spot on a humid evening in early Summer. Any photographer will tell you that about the sunset, it's the golden hour. I take a bag of frozen peas and place them on the this tilled earth. That's when I get the shot. It's another easy one....you already got it didn't you....peas on earth.
That's really about all I have. Two or three photos and that's not enough. I'm thinking cool and clever. A place where brain art is captured by the art of photography. You see it don't you?
So how about some help? I'm pretty busy so I can't sit around thinking about this stuff all day. I have on line research to do on stained glass and painting with water colors and hiking The Appalachian Trail. (The reading about is no problem, it's the do-ing where I'm woefully inept.)
